sound with goose bumps effect

ALPHORN days 2022

From September 7-11, Kleinwalsertal is once again all about the alphorn. Experience the soothing sounds of the shepherd instrument in their natural environment. Alphorn players from near and far will offer you special sound experiences - whether on the mountain or in the valley, during alphorn hikes, courses or the traditional alphorn serenade. A must is, of course, the 10th edition of the Alphorn Festival on Sunday - concerts of renowned alphorn groups from German-speaking countries guarantee natural sound pleasure! Don't miss the final overall choir with all alphorn blowers - guaranteed a goosebump moment!

THESE WERE THE ALPHORN DAYS 2022

After a break due to corona, alphorn fans from near and far celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Alphorn Days on the weekend of September 07-10, 2022.

A colorful program around the instrument of the mountains inspired alphorn fans throughout Kleinwalsertal. The sounds of the alphorn groups could be heard at various locations on the mountain and in the valley, as well as on alphorn hikes in the Gemsteltal and Bärgunttal.

At the big alphorn serenade the traditional costume group Kleinwalsertal, the Walser alphorn musicians as well as the alphorn workshop participants around lecturer Berthold Schick enchanted with alphorn sounds, dance and traditional costume.

The grand finale was the 10th edition of the Alphorn Festival - a special highlight was the overall choir, with about 45 alphorn players from six nations. In addition to Austria, Germany and Switzerland, guests and groups from Lichtenstein, Luxembourg and Belgium had also arrived.
