7 Things You Should Do During the Autumn in Kleinwalsertal

We often mourn the ending of summer a little. The long days when we sat in our t-shirts on the mountainside and looked forward to a cool drink of shandy at one of the mountain huts.

At the same time, we also tingle with anticipation at the thought of the coming winter and the first falls of snow in the mountains. For some of us this cannot come soon enough. You can also use this time differently and enjoy all the glories of autumn in the beautiful alpine scenery.

1. Take a Walk Through Rustling Leaves

The image of the alpine landscape is usually characterised by pine trees, however, there are also plenty of deciduous trees that offer up their rustling leaves. Why not take a walk along these trails where you are certain to find plenty of piles of leaves to jump into?

Obheiter is a phenomenon that can only be encountered in the mountains. A sea of fog almost like candyfloss can lie around your feet whilst your face is bathed in sun.

7. Jump In Some Puddles

It is true that you cannot expect to enjoy wall-to-wall sunshine during the autumn. It is important to keep the saying in mind that there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. So pull on your wellies, take a run-up and jump into the next puddle!
