A honey counter in Zwerwald, a honey shop in the Innerschwende & you can even ring the bell at beekeper’s Kurt Müller.

M FOR "MITTELALP"

Milk becomes cheese, cheese becomes cheese soup – and this is exactly what you have to try when you browse the menu at your Bsuach uf dr Mittelalp (hike to the Mittelalp). After all, the milk comes from the cow in the meadow next door! A cheese like this has to mature for at least three months, with regular care and repositioning, before it is served on the Mittelalp. Nice craftsmanship, right?

Do you know Everest and Eumel? ... Well, they are goats and two of the hardest-working employees at the ‘Bio & Genuss Bauernhof Fritz’. The farm runs its own cheese dairy, and the cheese ripening is broadcasted live in the Xond farm shop! The ham is impressive, as the cow had a happy life on the meadow, and the chicken only lays eggs when it wants and not because it has to. You will notice it in the taste - we promise!

Tip: On Tuesdays, you can take an e-bike to the organic farm.
