It grows and hums...
Now it starts - the flowering garden in the context of the BE[E]Kleinwalsertal project arises. What for? To serve as home to various insect and wild bee species.
But first dig over
Monday morning, May 8th - it starts. All of a sudden there is the sound of shoveling and dredging, right in Hirschegg across from our office. 'What are they building there?', I ask myself and I am promptly get informed that the flowering garden for the bees and insects is finally being created.
Sure, of course! BE[E]Kleinwalsertal goes into another round! Everything is being prepared so that the insect hotel can be built and the garden planted. I'm curious - Construction will continue until the beginning of July, then it starts to bloom in the flowering garden.
Quotation for thought ...
"Once the bee disappears from the earth, man has only four years left to live: no more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more humans."
Ready to grow
From today, 29.06.2018, the seedlings can be admired in the flower garden. Here and there was planted diligently. But what happens to the rest of the area that is still unplanted?
In the future here grows native flower meadow, with flowers, the (wild) bees especially like. For the garden that means a lot of green space and beautiful flowers to admire. Incidentally, you can also linger in the flower garden, because many benches offer a great view towards Riezlern.
