    Stopping Off for Refreshments on the Kleiner Grenzverkehr Mountain Bike Tour

    The 25 km-long circular cross-border mountain bike tour called the Kleiner Grenzverkehr (literally small cross-border) will take you across the German-Austrian border twice as you travel from Riezlern to Oberstdorf and back.

    Looking Back on the Haizuug

    Agriculture used to be the mainstay of existence for the Walser people and in fact the whole of the Kleinwalsertal region. Cattle and dairy farming played a crucial role as it is not possible to grow cereal crops in the valley.
