On the Alp – nature, enjoyment and tradition

Together with a local hiking guide and mountain farmer, you will experience the world of alpine farming. You will not only gain insight into the modern practices and challenges of today, but also into the changes of earlier times.

The highlight of this unique adventure tour is the tasting of alpine products and a hearty lunch with an authentic snack. Look forward to a selection of freshly made cheeses, spicy sausages, and homemade bread, accompanied by regional specialties and homemade delicacies.

The guide reserves the right to make changes to the program due to weather conditions, group size, or the fitness of the participants.

When: Every Thursday from June 19, 2025, to October 9, 2025
Time & Meeting Point: 10:00 a.m. Mittelberg, Walmendingerhorn valley station
Requirements: Sturdy footwear, fitness for up to 5 hours of walking, weather-appropriate clothing;
Price: €56 per person, excluding cable car ride. Ages 8 and up must be accompanied by an adult.
Duration: approx. 5 hours.
Min./Max. participants: 4-10 people. Dogs are welcome.
