Cheese anyone? Visit to the Bernhards Gemstelalp
After a leisurely hike, Bernhard Heim - farmer, hut keeper and dairyman - and his team will take you to the rustic dairy kitchen of Bernhard's Gemstelalp and give you exciting insights into the former mountain cheese production.
Learn how cheese has been made here for decades and afterwards taste the cheese specialties made from organic milk. Strengthened, you will begin your return journey amidst the impressive mountain backdrop of Elfer, Zwölfer, and Kleiner Widderstein.
Every Wednesday from June 11, 2025 to October 29, 2025 (or adjusted to the opening times of the hut)

Duration: 3.5 hours
Price: € 35.00 including a small snack. Suitable for children from 7 years, only in the company of adults.

Condition/Equipment: Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, fitness for hikes up to 2 hours;
