Gourmet valley hike

On this "pleasure tour" in the truest sense of the word, the diverse natural impressions of the valley floor and panoramic views of the middle altitude combine with the finest culinary delights. Get to know the most enjoyable cul-de-sac in the world from its most beautiful side on your own.

The start (between 10.30 a.m. and 11 a.m.) takes place in the Hotel Tradizio with an aperitif with homemade mountain herb syrup and regional appetizers. After the first hiking stage you will be fed up with fresh air and beautiful views, but the Supreme vom Wälder Hennele (or a vegetarian variant) awaits you and your hunger with a glass of wine in Hotel Birkenhöhe.

The second stage of the hike is wonderfully suitable as a digestive walk and leads you past impressive water and natural monuments to the hotel Sonnenburg. You have earned the fragrant Kaiserschmarren according to grandma’s recipe and you can look back into the valley and look back on the impressions of the hike.

Please plan your hike so that you arrive at the Hotel Birkenhöhe no later than 1.30 p.m. and no later than 5.00 p.m. at the Genuss- und Aktivhotel Sonnenburg. Ideally, you should take a whole day.
