Snowshoe tour Schwarzwasser

Our snowshoe tour starts at the Auenhütte. From there, the path leads along the mostly snow-covered and icy Schwarzwasserbach to its headwaters at the Schwarzwasserhütte, 1,650m. On the ascent and descent we cross beautiful, fairytale winter landscapes with frozen waterfalls and deep snow-covered gorges. Even when it snows, this tour is an enjoyable experience. A stop at the Schwarzwasserhütte completes the tour (not included).

Requirements: Sure-footedness, fitness for ascents between 500 and 700 meters in altitude and walking times of up to 6 hours.
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high shoes (mountain boots) or hiking boots, winter clothing and a rucksack with some provisions. Snowshoes and poles as well as avalanche transceivers are provided.
