#fensterpoesie project to Kleinwalsertal
#window poetry is coming to Kleinwalsertal
Words move, touch and inspire. For more art and poetry in everyday life, Kleinwalsertal Tourismus, together with its cooperation partners literatur.ist and W*ORT, is bringing the #fensterpoesie project to Kleinwalsertal:
From the beginning of July to the beginning of September, a total of 20 poems will be on display in public shop windows in Hirschegg. In addition to selected poems by the ten invited authors, works by amateur poets will also decorate the windows of cafés and shops.
The #windowpoesie project also shortens the wait for the next Kleinwalsertal Literature Festival, the third edition of which is planned for 2023. The artists invited to #windowpoetry include Michael Stavarič and Christian Futscher. But poems by artists from the region will also find a place in the shop windows. Among them are Sarah Rinderer, winner of the Feldkirch Poetry Prize 2021, Ines Strohmaier from Kleinwalsertal, who is known for her poetry slams, and the Allgäu dialect author Cornelia Bessler from Bad Hindelang. The Walser artist Bianca Schneider is responsible for the artistic design of the poems on the shop windows in Hirschegg.
Participate in #windowpoesie – this is how it works:
Deadline: Send the poems on the topic "Blick" to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 13, 2022.
From the beginning of July to the beginning of September, the poems, artistically designed, on shop windows in Hirschegg will provide a special cultural experience in the middle of town.
