BE[E]Kleinwalsertal - Blühgarten

"Once the bee disappears from earth, man has only four years left to live. "(Albert Einstein, 1949) Today, in 2018, the useful pollinators are not doing very well. Several initiatives within the project BE[E]Kleinwalsertal are setup to counteract the extinction of bees and insects!

A new garden blooms
In summer of 2018, we created a flowering garden in Hirschegg, which is going to be a home to insect and wild bee species. Locals and guests are involved in the design and implementation. Interesting facts about bees and insects are presented in the garden and benches invite you to linger, watch and enjoy.

Sowing flower seeds
For our guests, we have put together a flower seed mixture with experts - they can be obtained free of charge at our customer information desk in the Walserhaus in Hirschegg. So you can also create a small bee oasis at home in the garden or on the balcony. This way our project BE[E]Kleinwalsertal is slowly but surely carried out into the world.
