Short description

The Upper high path is a panorama trail below the Walmendingerhorn providing marvelous views on the mountain arena of the Kleinwalsertal. An easy walk with several resting point and refreshment stops.

Description

Sitting in the chair lift, we watch the Ifen appear in the distance. From the Heuberg lift to the Bühlalpe the spruce and sycamore forest alternates with colorful flower meadows. This is why the trail is also called panorama trail: First we look towards the Kanzelwand, then into the Wildental and Gemsteltal and to parts of Mittelberg. Before we descend below the Bühlalpe and walk back to Mittelberg we are offered splendid views towards Baad and the posterior Kleinwalsertal. If you need a little rest before the return to Mittelberg – stop for a refreshment at the Bühlalpe!
