Butterflies are an important indicator of biodiversity and the Kleinwalsertal is a hotspot for butterfly diversity. But what exactly are the conditions for the fascinating insects in Kleinwalsertal? In an informative talk, Peter Huemer and Johannes Rüdisser offer insights into the peculiarities of native butterflies and butterfly monitoring.

The event is part of the "Nature Diversity Days Kleinwalsertal", which will celebrate its premiere this summer from July 1st to July 3rd, 2021. A multi-day event with excursions and talks for guests and locals. Everything revolves around the diversity of nature. Every year there will be a different focus to find out how the distribution of different animal and plant species is in the Kleinwalsertal.
