Snowshoeing in Schwarzwassertal | © Kleinwalsertal Tourismus eGen | Photographer: Oliver Farys

The Schwarzwassertal - surrounded by Walmendinger Horn in the south and Ifen in the north - is a wild and romantic nature reserve. A rare gem. The (snowshoe) hike starts at the Auenhütte (1270 m). From there, the trail leads along the  (snowy and icy) Schwarzwasserbach to its headwaters at the Schwarzwasserhütte at 1650 m.
