    PUMPTRACK MITTELBERG

    The specially designed circuit for roller sports equipment with waves, banked turns and jumps offers both beginners and advanced riders the opportunity to improve their motor skills on a bike, scooter or inline skates. The pump track is open daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and can be used free of charge with your own sports equipment.

    • Location: Walmendingerhornbahn parking lot, Mittelberg
    • Opening hours: open daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm (in the snow and ice-free period)

    Burmiwasser at kanzelwand

    The Burmi water installation is located high up on Kanzelwand. It's a particularly wet and fun adventure for children. On the playground adventure trail, you can follow the water downhill for a few hundred meters as it flows down the adventure trail along lagoons, water wheels and locks. Parents will most likely stay dry and can stroll alongside and enjoy the fresh mountain air and great summit panorama of the two-country region.

    Burmi Trail - Fitness trail for kids

    The Burmi trail winds its way between Riezlern and Hirschegg alongside the Breitach river and offers numerous play and climbing opportunities at nine stations. The beauty of it, the wooden structures are fun and lovingly built. While this is safe for kids to play on, adults can settle on one of the unusual benches and listen to the soothing sounds of the river, while children can climb on non-split wooden equipment or hide like the marmots in the cave.

    This hike is a real insider tip that only exists in summer! On the green meadows along the way you can see animals that kids already know from childrens books up close! In addition to horses, goats, cows and sheep that you see along the way, you will arrive at the so called water-filled Kessellöcher (water-filled holes)

    Find the HASPELWALDMÄNDLE

    Here an exciting search for the Haspelwaldmändle who lives in the eponymous forest below the Walmendingerhorn begins, . The quiz and a surprise after finishing the quiz are waiting at the destination - the mountain hut, Bühlalpe. The quiz and the walk are suitable for children from age 4 and leads through alpine terrain. It's not suitable for strollers. Please note the opening hours of the Bühlalpe.

    Towers at the Breitach

    The slow flow of the stream along this path allows you to hop into the water on warm days! In the gravel bed a few hundred meters downstream from the Gasthof Waldhaus you can hardly see the Breitach because the whole place is full of cairns! And of course, anyone who passes by here has to build their own cairn! Starting point is in Riezlern, direction Breitachklamm.

    Schwarzwasserbach

    Sometimes it's a shallow brook, sometimes a deep gorge - the hike along the Schwarzwasserbach is easy and full of natural wonders. Particularly interesting: waterfalls in the Melköde, Kessellöcher (water-filled holes) and the natural bridge.

    • Putting the fun back in hiking

    Hiking pass

    Collect points and earn the Kleinwalsertal hiking pins - from the bronze pin with 50 points up to 5000 points. For a contribution towards costs of currently € 4, you can obtain a hiking pass from the tourist office in Hirschegg, in which the points are entered by hand or stamped by the huts. At the end of your holiday you add up the points and receive the "hiked" pin at the tourist office.

    Swimming pools & Lakes

    The outdoor swimming pool in Riezlern offers a swimmer lane (50 m), a large children's pool, a 59-meter long slide, a triple slide for adults and children, diving boards and much more. Relax on the beautiful sunbathing lawn and get some snacks at the kiosk.

    The water temperature of the Freibergsee is 18 - 24 ° C. There is a large lawn with playground and on the lake you will find a diving platform and a raft and at the  edge is boat rental possible and a kiosk. After the hike towards Söllereck, this is a well deserved cool down.

    Summer Coaster Söllereck

    The thrill of riding on the winding 850 m long track with built-in jumps and waves and a 4.5 m high bridge that goes over the B 19. The Allgäu Coaster slows down automatically and takes you back to the starting point. A special kick for everyone.

    The playgrounds are located next to the schools in Hirschegg, the park in Riezlern and the social center in Riezlern-Egg. The playground in Mittelberg has been created with climbing and water play equipment as well as a playhouse and slide. Children can also play at the playgrounds nearby many huts and restaurants.
