From June 18 to 20, 2026, the Nature Diversity Days in Kleinwalsertal inspired numerous nature enthusiasts with unforgettable experiences centered around the region’s fascinating birdlife. On guided excursions with experts, participants gained exciting insights into capercaillie research and observed impressive golden eagles in the Gemstel Valley, experiencing nature up close. Afterward, Sven Biermann from the Government of Swabia will provide fascinating insights into the world of black grouse and the current state of research. The event concludes with an excursion to the Kürenwald forest—led by Miriam Simma (Europaschutzgebiete Vorarlberg)—where we’ll search for traces of owls and woodpeckers.
