Barrier-free on the mountain Up high without any problems
In Kleinwalsertal, you can enjoy the mountains without barriers! All cable cars and the associated mountain restaurants are barrier-free - thanks to elevators or stair lifts. Barrier-free toilets are also available there. So everyone can enjoy the spectacular panorama of our mountain world.
Please note: The Ifenbahn is only accessible in winter with the assistance of an accompanying person, as access is via rolled snow.

Excursion tip: Panorama elevator on the Walmendingerhorn Spectacular view
Experience the unobstructed view! The accessible observation deck on the Kanzelwand offers a breathtaking panorama - on a clear day, the view extends all the way to the tri-border area of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The Kanzelwandbahn cable car takes you effortlessly up to the heights, where the beauty of the Alps seems close enough to touch. A place to marvel, linger, and enjoy!

Barrier-free events Something on offer in winter & summer
Whether at the winter Snowmans gathering or the relaxed Summer Lounge – everyone is welcome in Riezlern! Both events are barrier-free, with paths at ground level and barrier-free toilets. This means that all guests can enjoy the convivial atmosphere without any worries. Come along and experience unforgettable moments – without barriers!

Barrier-free hiking trails Experience nature for everyone
Kleinwalsertal offers nature enjoyment for everyone – including guests with limited mobility. Several barrier-free hiking trails allow relaxed exploration of the mountain landscape, whether with a wheelchair, baby carriage or walking aid.
Popular routes such as the Burmiweg along the Breitach offer well-developed, wide paths with gentle gradients and wonderful views. Well-developed paths in the upper altitudes also offer great opportunities to enjoy the Alpine panorama.
For wheelchair users, we recommend our neighbouring municipality of Oberstdorf, which offers numerous barrier-free paths that can be easily and stress-free navigated with wheelchairs.
