Important information for dog owners

In Kleinwalsertal you will find over 50 practical Robidog stations that make it easier to be out and about with your dog. There are poop bag dispensers and disposal facilities at these stations to keep nature clean. Please note: Muzzles are compulsory for your four-legged friend on the Walserbus and in the large gondolas.

In Kleinwalsertal there is no general obligation to keep your dog on a lead. Nevertheless, every dog should be walked in such a way that it can be called off at any time or stays reliably and closely with its owner. Out of consideration for children and other walkers, we ask that dogs are either kept on a lead or walked closely on heavily frequented hiking trails.

The law stipulates:
“It is forbidden to allow dogs to run free in publicly accessible recreational areas, parks and green spaces, agricultural and forestry land and nature reserves.”

In particularly sensitive areas such as the Burmiweg, we appeal to the sense of responsibility of all dog owners and expressly ask them to keep their dogs on a lead.
