Crispy & irresistible!

If you're still hungry for breakfast, you can treat yourself to a fresh pastry at Gerd's stall at the Walser weekly market. You can expect fresh baked goods, lovingly prepared by Liane: your hiking snack is guaranteed.

savory enjoyment

What goes well with fresh bread? A spicy piece of mountain cheese and a hearty venison or chamois sausage, of course. These are available from Tobias Kinzel, for example. From his rustic wood-shingled wagon, you can taste the cheeses and sausages from the region. The dark red beef ham is definitely a highlight here! Most of the products come from the Walser Buura, an association of farmers from Kleinwalsertal.

Honey directly from the bee whisperer

The beekeeper Achim Schneider from Schwende in Kleinwalsertal specializes in bees and honey. He manages his colonies with great joy and enthusiasm. Achim Schneider sits at the weekly market surrounded by a selection of Walser mountain blossom honey, forest creamed honey and propolis. In the meantime, he always has his bees in view via his bee livecam.

Treasures from the weekly market

Otherwise, you can browse through the other stalls at your leisure: there are beautiful wooden items, scarves, socks, great local handicrafts, schnapps and liqueurs, jams, sweets, souvenirs and herbs. And to stock up on vitamins for your vacation, you can also stock up on fruit and vegetables from Lake Constance and the surrounding area...
