In this simple day tour, we let ourselves be enchanted by the charm of the winter landscape. We hike towards the Hörnlepass mountain inn and further through the extensive alpine area of Osterbergalpe, which is farmed in summer. In winter, we enjoy absolute tranquility and listen to the silence. If conditions allow, we will make a detour towards Hörnlepass. On this tour in nature, we leave everyday life behind and enjoy the solitude on our journey through the peaceful winter landscape. An ideal day tour for beginners and anyone looking for a relaxed and leisurely experience.
Duration: approximately 5 hours - expected return around 3 p.m.
Meeting: 9:30 a.m. at the Bergblick guesthouse in Riezlern
Price: € 80.00 including snowshoes and poles; LVS device, shovel, probe - if necessary
Minimum participants: from 4 persons;
Requirements: Fitness and stamina for athletic ascents and descents of up to 400 m in snow and hiking time of up to 5 hours.
Technique: You have no experience in snowshoe hiking yet, but are sure-footed (able to walk securely on uneven terrain).
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high shoes (mountain boots) or hiking boots, winter clothing, and a backpack with some provisions.
