The Schwarzwassertal, nestled between Walmendinger Horn and Hoher Ifen, is a wild romantic nature reserve. Our snowshoe tour begins at the Auenhütte. From there, the path follows the Schwarzwasserbach. During the ascent and descent, we traverse beautiful, fairy-tale winter landscapes with frozen waterfalls and deep snow-covered gorges. Even in snowfall, this tour is a delightful experience.

Duration: approx. 5 hours
Meeting point: 9:35 a.m., Ifen valley station
Price: € 80.00 including snowshoes and poles; avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe - if necessary
Minimum participants: from 4 people;
Prerequisites: sure-footedness, fitness for ascents of 500 to 700 vertical meters and walking times up to 6 hours.
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high shoes (mountain shoes) or hiking boots, winter clothing, and a backpack with some provisions. Snowshoes and poles as well as an avalanche transceiver will be provided.
