Schwendeloipe

Operating time under appropriate temperatures and snow conditions. Here you can find the current snow sports report. The Schwendeloipe stretches about 12 km up the Straußberg to the Gasthof Hörnlepass and back over Außerwald.

The entire Schwendeloipe route network is prepared for classic and skating.

The Schwendeloipe scores points with its sunny location as well as a trail route through a beautiful and varied winter landscape and a panoramic view of the Kleinwalsertal and Oberallgäu mountains.

There are a total of 4 possible circuits on the Schwendeloipe: the Bergblick circuit (0.7km), the Straußberg circuit (4.2km), the Hörnlepass circuit (7.7km) and the Ausserwald circuit (3.7km).

These easy to moderately difficult circuits can be run individually or combined with each other.

The cross-country trail entry with the start of most circuits is at the Gasthof Bergblick. Other possible cross-country trail entrances on the Schwendeloipe are at the Sonnenburg and at the Gasthof Hörnlepass.

There are rest and refreshment stops along the trail.
