From Germany

A7 to motorway junction Allgäu over the section of the A980 to the junction Waltenhofen and on the 4-lane highway 19 via Sonthofen and Oberstdorf to Kleinwalsertal.

From Switzerland

St. Gallen in the direction of Bregenz continue on the Queralpenstrasse to Oberstaufen, Immenstadt, Sonthofen and Oberstdorf in Kleinwalsertal.
Alternative: Riedbergpass over the Bregenzerwald (Hittisau) - Riedbergpass - Fishing - Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal - Please note the status of the Riedbergpass, especially in winter.

From Austria

From Tyrol via the A7 to Kempten continue on the B19 towards Oberstdorf. From Vorarlberg - see Switzerland.

By Bus or Train

Oberstdorf, which is located 10 km away from Kleinwalsertal will be your final stop.
Direct trains operate from Dortmund (Essen, Duisburg, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Bonn), Hamburg, Munich, Augsburg and Nuremberg.

From there you can continue by taxi or bus. The taxi station is directly at the station. The Walserbus (terminal directly at the station) runs at high season in 10 or 20-minute intervals. Duration of the ride about 15 to 40 minutes, depending on your exit.

By plane

Kleinwalsertal is only a few driving hours away from international airports in Germany (Munich, Stuttgart, Friedrichshafen und Memmingerberg) and Switzerland (St. Gallen-Altenrhein und Zurich) as well as the regional airport in Innsbruck.
