Nature Diversity Days Kleinwalsertal 2023

From August 31 to September 5, 2023, the "Naturvielfalt Tage Kleinwalsertal" (Nature Diversity Days Kleinwalsertal) took place for the third time for nature lovers large and small to explore the diversity of Kleinwalsertal. With annually changing thematic focuses, it provides exciting insights into the world of biodiversity and enables the exchange between interested guests, locals and experts.

The main topic in summer 2023 was the geology of the Kleinwalsertal.

At the Naturvielfalt Tage 2022 everything revolved around the main topic "European Protected Area Ifen". During a colorful program of different excursions, participants learned relevant and exciting information about the area around the striking mountain and its complex geological structures. During the bat night, ultrasound detectors were used to search for the remarkable flying artists. During the excursion "European Protected Area Ifen", regional manager Martin Bösch accompanied those thirsting for knowledge into the various habitats of countless bird species, butterflies, reptiles and amphibians, while nature guide Diana Eckhoff took young researchers on the family excursion into the mysterious water world of the Schwarzwasserbach.

Nature experts provided additional insights into the Ifen European Protected Area at various info points and tips on how we can all do our bit to preserve this natural area worthy of protection.
