REVIEW - THESE WERE THE ALPHORN DAYS 2022

After a break due to corona, alphorn fans from near and far celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Alphorn Days on the weekend of September 7-10, 2022.

A colorful program around the instrument of the mountains inspired alphorn fans throughout Kleinwalsertal. The sounds of the alphorn groups could be heard at various locations on the mountain and in the valley, as well as on alphorn hikes in the Gemsteltal and Bärgunttal. In alphorn courses & workshops, led by Berthold Schick, experienced alphorn players and beginners who wanted to try their hand at alphorn playing were able to expand their skills.

At the big alphorn serenade the traditional costume group Kleinwalsertal, the Walser alphorn blowers as well as the workshop participants around lecturer Berthold Schick enchanted with alphorn, dance and traditional costume.

The grand finale was the 10th edition of the Alphorn Festival - a special highlight was the overall choir, with about 45 alphorn players from six nations. In addition to Austria, Germany and Switzerland, guests and groups from Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Belgium had also arrived.
