Open-air autumn concert by the Musikverein d'Hirschegger with interludes by the alphorn players at 8.00 pm in the courtyard of the Hirschegg children's house (Walserhaus bus stop). In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Walserhaus Hirschegg.

Due to the weather conditions, the event “Alphorntechno x Sundowner” on Friday, 13.09.24 can unfortunately not take place as planned on the Walmendingerhorn.

The new venue is at the music pavilion in Mittelberg. Due to the change of location, no ticket is required and the event will take place free of charge and in all weathers.

On Sunday, the Alphorn Days come to a climax with the Alphorn Festival. Groups from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium demonstrate their skills once again on this day and share their passion for the alphorn.

The day starts at 10.30 a.m. with an ecumenical church service with Rev. Edwin Matt, accompanied by the Freigerichter Alphornists and the Edelweiss alphorn players from the Black Forest. The Trachtenkapelle Harmonie Mittelberg then invites you to a morning pint and the musicians play their instruments and present delicacies from the traditional brass band repertoire.

Alphorn groups from Austria, Switzerland and Germany perform from around 12.45 pm. The Walser alphorn players open the afternoon. After the alphorn group Echo vom Röhrliberg from Switzerland, the alphorn instructors and workshop leaders Berthold Schick & Volker Bereuter and their alphorn players will demonstrate their skills. In between, the Bradlberg Musikanten provide variety: old songs combined with new ones, played by young, smart musicians. The thoroughbred musicians from the Bregenzerwald, Dornbirn and Tyrol promise a special musical treat.

The full choir, conducted by Volker Bereuter and open to all wind players in F, will take place at around 4.00 pm and will provide the highlight of the 2024 Alphorn Festival in Kleinwalsertal.
