Active relaxation in nature is possible in Kleinwalsertal on a very personal and individual basis - whether on a challenging tour to the next peak or a relaxing hike at medium altitudes. And sometimes all it takes is a cozy vantage point to clear your head and rediscover your inner balance. Four NatureExperience spots have been built throughout the valley to unwind, refresh yourself on warm days and enjoy the view of the Walser mountains. Fresh air, exercise in the mountains and the warm sun on your face make it easy to find the relaxation we are looking for.

NatureExperience spot Rohrweg

Tour: Natural Bridge - Kessellöcher (Chessellöcher)

A perfect tour for hot summer days, shady and with lots of water. The first highlight along the tour: Relax at the nature experience area at Kesselschwand. If you want to discover something new we recommend the root path to the nature bridge, a detour to the Schwarzwasserbach is worthwhile in any case. The natural bridge is impressive not only because of its look, but also because of its idyllic and shady location. The flowing turquoise water and the green shimmering moos make this place mystical. Continue through woods and meadows, follow the Schwarzwasserbach. At the end of the forest you can enjoy a wonderful view of Ifen and Schwarzwassertal. The next highlights are not far away, just follow the narrow path at the end of the sports park. Attention! Do not miss the waterfall on your left, continue walking straight ahead to the "Kessellöcher". Along the water you reach the road after a short climb. Follow the road to Fuchsfarm, from there you can reach the well-deserved nature experience area at Rohrweg via a hiking trail. Now you can sit down, relax and enjoy.

NatureExperience spot Schwand

Tour: Riezlern high path

Cozy and rewarding trail, easy climbs and beautiful views - ideal even on bad weather days. At the edge of the forest, just before the entrance to the Westeggtobel, the trail starts on the right. A path through woods and meadows takes you to the bottom of the Gehrenshang - now we want to see your eyes shine. Directly on the hiking trail and next to the Schwandlift, which only runs in winter, you will find the nature experience area Schwand. Take a moment to relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the mountain chain. The water-treading is also good for your mind and soul. After the short break you cross the Gehrenhang until just before the Gehrentobel, right down to the Zwerbach and along the Buchenwald you reach Walserstraße.

NatureExperience spot Kesselschwand

Tour: Along the Schwarzwasserbach

A regenerating half-day tour. Experience the essence of water. Starting from the Auenhütte at the Ifenbahn, the hiking trail leads you over the Wildmoos into the valley. It doesn't take long until the path leads you along the mystical Schwarzwasserbach. In the shade of the forests, the green here is particularly rich and bright in summer. Here you will find peace & quiet to ground your body and mind. After some time you will reach the first highlight of this hike - the Kessellöcher. Further down the road, you will pass over rippling waterfalls and reach the natural bridge. An idyllic place, which radiates a special charm with its turquoise water and the green moss. Directly nearby you will find yourself at the natur experience area Kesselschwand to rest. After the relaxing time-out, the hiking trail goes over the covered Höfle bridge to the other side of the valley. Along the stream it now goes down to the old Schwende bridge and over the wildly romantic Kleine Zwing to the Waldhaus and the Walserschanze.
