Huts & cabins

Open only in summer. Closed on Wednesdays. The approximately 200-250 year old hut is located south side of the Widderstein massif.

No day of rest. The restaurant "Gipfelstuba am Walmendingerhorn" is located at the mountain station of the Walmendingerhornbahn. Walserbus line 1 - stop Mittelberg.

Only open in summer - from around the end of May to mid-October. No day of rest. The alp is located in the district Wildental, ascent to the Fiderepasshütte. Walserbus line 1 to Mittelberg, change to line 4.

Monday rest day. The Innere Wiesalpe is located in Mittelberg - Wildental. Walserbus line 1 - stop Mittelberg, change to line 4.

In the middle of the Heuberg Arena hiking area. Directly at the Parsenn-Kombibahn mountain station. Only 5 minutes walk to bus line 5 stop Fuchsfarm. Free parking at the house. Wednesday and Thursday closed. 

Open from June 24th, 2024 to the beginning of October. No day of rest. On the hiking trail from Walmendingerhorn through the Schwarzwassertal is the Walmendinger Alpe.

Only open in summer - from June 12, 2024 to mid-October. No rest day, only closed in extremely bad weather. Alpe Kuhgehren is located in Wildental. Bus line Nr. 1 - Kanzelwandbahn or Bus line Nr. 4 - Höfle.

Open in summer - until around mid/end of October. No day of rest. At the end of the Gemsteltales, just before the pass lies the idyllic Hinter Gemstelhütte with imposing rock walls. Walserbus line 1 - stop Mittelberg Gemse.

No day of rest. The Alpine Club Hut is at 1650 meters. Summer season: open until October 13, 2024.

Open only in summer - to October 27, 2024. No day of rest. Organic snacks warm and cold drinks. Specialty: warm organic ham from the smoker and homemade organic mountain cheese. The Gemstel-Schöneboden-Alpe is located on the left side of the valley in Gemsteltal.

Open: July 13th and July 14, 2024 and from July 21, 2024 until the beginning of October. No day of rest. Quaint, quiet cabin with a unique view of the Walser mountain and wildlife. Capricorn, chamois and red deer can be seen here.
