Short description

A nature experience for experienced tourers in Schwarzwassertal with a route entirely in the spirit of "experiencing nature consciously".

Description

At 2058 meters, the Hählekopf marks the western “end” of the Schwarzwassertal and is a fantastic ski tour. The wide mountain delights ski tourers with its ideally inclined slopes.

Despite the nearby ski area on the Ifen, you hardly notice it in the Schwarzwassertal & immerse yourself in the tranquility of winter. Arrived at the summit there is a wonderful view of the Kleinwalsertal, the Diedamskopf, Ifen and Grünhorn. And finally you will be rewarded with a great descent.

The Schwarzwassertal is also popular with winter hikers in winter. Particularly on the first section until shortly before the Alpe Melköde, a little more consideration for the other winter sports enthusiasts is required during the ascent and descent. Then enough space and enjoyment of nature is guaranteed for everyone.

Experiencing nature consciously stands for a respectful coexistence among winter sports enthusiasts and towards nature. The route described takes into account the designated winter sanctuary in the Schwarzwassertal.
