Get to know the most enjoyable cul-de-sac in the world from its most beautiful side on your own.

The start (between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) takes place at the Hotel Tradizio with an aperitif with homemade hay flower syrup and regional starters. After the first stage of the hike you may be full of fresh air and beautiful views, but the fried fillet of Heimertinger salmon trout (or a vegetarian version) is waiting for you and your hunger with a glass of wine at the Hotel Birkenhöhe.

The second stage of the hike is ideal as a digestive walk and takes you past impressive water and natural monuments to the Hotel Sonnenburg. You've truly earned the fragrant Kaiserschmarren made from Grandma's recipe along with a hot drink and can reflect on the impressions of the hike with a view into the valley.

Please plan your hike so that you arrive at the Hotel Birkenhöhe by 1:30 p.m. at the latest and at the Genuss- und Aktivhotel Sonnenburg by 5 p.m. at the latest. Ideally, you should take a whole day.

Pure walking times:
Hotel Tradizio to Birkenhöhe: approx. 1.5 to 2 hours walking time (without Zaferna lift approx. 2 to 2.5 hours)
Birkenhöhe to Sonnenburg: approx. 2 hour walking time
