Nature excursion for families - diversity of moors
A nature excursion for young and old invites you to discover, marvel and understand.
Every Friday from May 24th to September 6th, 2024 and from October 11th, 2024 to November 1st, 2024
Peatlands are precious natural wonders that serve as unique habitats for animals and plants. During our hike we will encounter different types of moors and get to know their special features and their inhabitants. The path takes us along the Breitach, whose stream bed offers enough space to play. Here we get active, build, mud and experiment in order to better understand how the moor works and how it is created.
Requirements and what to bring: Sturdy shoes, backpack with drinks and provisions, clothing appropriate for the weather, sun protection, fitness for walking for up to 2 hours.
Time & meeting point: 9.30 a.m., Bergblick - Ausserschwende bus stop in Riezlern.
Price: € 20 per person
Duration: approx. 3 hours
Suitable for children aged 6 and over, only possible when accompanied by an adult.
