Snapshots - Concert by the Riezlern traditional band

Whether childhood, vacation, great love, courage or friendship - we take special experiences and moments deep into us until they become memories. The Riezlern traditional band brings snapshots from different phases of life and moments to a stirring sound and sets the audience's head cinema in motion.

The repertoire of the evening is as diverse as life itself: with “Hansel and Gretel” or “A Childhood Remembered” a piece of childhood is revived, Johann Strauß lets you think back to your last vacation and “The Secret of the White Rose” is reminiscent of the unforgettable courage of Sophie Scholl and the White Rose resistance fighters. As a musical tour guide, accordion soloist Bernhard Oss from Oberstdorf takes us through the streets of Paris Montmartre and Maria Beier swaps the French horn for the microphone for Edith Piaf's "Non, je ne regrette rien". With Thomas Berchtold and Andi Fauland, two soloists - on clarinet and typewriter - are used in Leroy Anderson's "Typewriter".

The Trachtenkapelle is excited about collaborating with the Karl Max Kessler Archive as a “photographic memory” of the development of the Kleinwalsertal in the first half of the last century. The (snap) recordings from the archive will enrich the concert experience.

The over 40 musicians under the direction of Katrin Berchtold are happy about a large audience and a concert experience that becomes a snapshot to remember.

Admission is free, as is seating. Cool drinks refresh the atmosphere at the music bar.
