Alp hiking in the Derratal

No sun needed for this tour - the fresh green alps are colouring enough! An interesting scene is also when the clouds dance around the Großer Widderstein in the neighbouring Bärgunttal, by the way a completely different view onto the highest peak in Kleinwalsertal! The trail to Derra alp and the two Spital alps are partly alpine, partly they remind you of a jungle path. In midsummer dozens of cows graze on the slopes. When descending a stop at the Mitllere Spitalalpe is recommended, beautifully situated at the slope of the Unspitze peak.
