A warm welcome to “Aparthotel - App. 423”!
Welcome to our completely renovated and fully furnished apartment in the Aparthotel. This unique complex is located in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal in the village of Mittelberg, at an altitude of 1,215 meters in Vorarlberg, Austria. From the Netherlands, this is the closest high-alpine valley with peaks of more than 2,500 meters. This means no long car journeys (approximately 800 km from Utrecht) and no motorway vignettes, but excellent skiing and cross-country skiing in the winter and beautiful walks and challenging outdoor activities in the summer.
The hotel has bowling alleys, pool billiards, table football, darts, après-ski with live music, bar, good restaurant, friendly ski school, ski rental and a (heated) store for your skis and ski boots. The atmosphere in and outside the hotel is warm and friendly. In short: everything is in place for a wonderful holiday.

Conditions
In the entire area from Kleinwalsertal to the border with Germany you can make free use of the (ski) bus, both in winter and in summer. Please note: when you leave Kleinwalsertal / Austria, you have to pay a (small) amount for the bus for the journey in Germany (end station Oberstdorf). In addition, during summer you can make unlimited use of the open ski lifts/gondelas with the unique Kleinwalsertal 'Bergbahnenpass'. You will get this pass for free during your stay in our apartment.
During your stay in our apartment you can make free use of the hotel facilities, such as the swimming pool, sauna, sports hall (incl. table tennis), children's play hall (incl. trampoline) and an underground parking garage.
Practical / housekeeping information:
Since the apartment is owned by a private owner from the Netherlands, you must bring your own linen (pillowcase, duvet cover, fitted sheet) and towels yourself (pillow and duvets are provided). Everything else is there, such as a dishwasher, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer, etc.Procedure after the booking:
- After booking, the deposit of EUR 100 must be paid within one week (this is also indicated on the confirmation).
- After the deposit, you will receive an blank registration form from the private owner with a request to return it completed.
- After full payment (at least 1 week before arrival date; the final date is on the booking confirmation), the private owner will register the guests via the AWC app and you will receive all information about the apartment, how they can get the key of the residence and possibly free mountain railway tickets (only in summer).

Directions to Aparthotel Kleinwalsertal (Wildentalstrasse 3, Mittelberg A-6993 Austria) - by car:
Kleinwalsertal is easily accessible by car. In Germany you drive on the highway until Kempten, then you go south. At Oberstdorf you turn towards Kleinwalsertal. You do not need an autobahn vignette to enter Austria. After reaching the border post, first you arrive in Riezlern and please continue on the same road (crossing the bridge to Breitach bridge) with the left bend to Hirschegg. Keep driving until you get to Mittelberg, just before you enter Mittelberg center, turn left (on the left you will see restaurant Wirtshaus Hoheneck). Then you drive slightly downhill and you will see the Aparthotel on your left. At the Italian restaurant (Capricorno) you turn left and then the first left so that you are in front of the main entrance of the Aparthotel where you can pick up your key with your key letter that you have received from the owner.

Our apartment in the Aparthotel is ideally located, close to the ski slopes (100 meters walk), cross-country trails (from the doorstep) and hiking trails. Free WiFi is available in the apartment.
The apartment can be rented in both summer and winter. Our apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Check our website for availability and prices.
