We warmly welcome you in the Mahdtalhütte. We combine 350 years of family history with this wonderfully situated house. We would like to share our history with you. Traditional buildings meet modern luxury and give the Mahdtalhütte its unique charm.

Let yourself be enchanted by the enchanting view of the Walser mountains and enjoy the quiet and intimate location. In the immediate vicinity you can experience the Walser nature through numerous hiking trails. But also for the physical well-being, there are many a hearty rest stop to discover.

In our house with the "quaint Walser Stube", you will find a traditional meeting place that invites you to a relaxed get-together.Five comfortable bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, a separate toilet and a TV room offer enough space for up to 16 people In addition to the original elements of the Mahdtalhütte you will also find a modern and spacious kitchen, as well as free internet access, a pleasant underfloor heating and a barbecue terrace.

Parking possible directly at the cottage.
Distance bus stop ~150 meters.

- take the Walserbus and be in the ski area Kanzelwand / Fellhorn within five minutes

- 1.3 km to the Schwendeloipe

- ca. 700m to the toboggan lift

- direct at a wonderful network of hiking trails

- directly from the cottage on ski or snowshoe tour / designated tours

Arrival

Right before the village of Riezlern turn right to the Schwende bridge in the district Schwende. At the Hotel Bellevue turn left towards Innerschwende until the intersection Mahdtalhaus, then turn right and after 250 meters on the right side you have reached the holiday home Mahdtalhütte.

Room details

Our cottage lasts for 16 people. There are 3 quadruple rooms and 2 double rooms. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. In the 2 bathrooms are each shower / toilet and sink available. In addition, a TV room with satellite TV, an original Walser parlor for enjoyable hours, ski and boot room with shoe heating, separate dog room, terrace with panoramic views, barbecue area including barbecue, table tennis, football, playground for children with swing and sandpit.
