wilderness day for children

This day will be unforgettable and reminds us that nature is our true home. Are you ready for this exciting journey?

Every Tuesday from June 30 - September 8, 2026 and from October 13 - October 27, 2026
Meeting point: at the Walserhaus Hirschegg at 9:45 a.m.

Join us on an exciting adventure where we discover the true beauty and power of nature in the Kleinwalsertal.
Together, we will explore mysterious and seldom-visited places just waiting to be found by us.

Depending on the weather and conditions, we will light our own campfire on the bank of a crystal-clear stream or in a tipi. There we will bake delicious stick bread, carve sticks, practice stealth techniques, or build arrows and bows depending on availability.
In sunny weather, the Breitach invites you for a refreshing swim. Those who wish can camouflage themselves with mud and immerse even deeper into the feeling of true wilderness.

Equipment/What to bring:

  • Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing.
  • In nice weather: swimwear, towel, and if available flip-flops/sandals.
  • Bring a water bottle and snacks.

Duration: approx. 5 hours
Price: € 30.00 per child per day
Minimum participants: from 1 child
Maximum number of participants: 12 children
Suitable for children aged 6 to 12
