Alphorn workshop for advanced 2024
Let the shepherd's instrument sound!
This four-day workshop is aimed at experienced wind players and ends with the traditional alphorn serenade. This workshop is aimed at all interested wind musicians (with around six years of wind experience) and all experienced alphorn players who want to get to know new things and improve what they have learned.
In addition to ensemble playing, playing methodology, breathing, approach, tone formation, as well as literature and instrument-specific features are covered. The workshop concludes with an appearance at the Alphorn Serenade on Saturday, September 14th (performance from around 4 p.m.).
Workshop 4 x 2.5 hours – on four consecutive days (Wed-Sat). Rental alphorns for the alphorn courses are available - please specify when booking.
